our story
Musical Theatre Life welcomes all ages with open arms, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment where fun takes centre stage. We prioritise the simple joy of being part of a vibrant community where everyone can unleash their inner performer, embrace their passion for musical theatre, make friends, gain in confidence and most importantly, have fun together. Our ultimate mission is to expose a huge range of theatre music in the hope that all our pupils will take the love and passion of this music with them through life and as a result, ‘live their musical theatre life.’

OUR TEACHERS
Our classes run weekly and they are term time only.
Alwoodley:
- Teens class: Monday at 4.30 – 5.30 (The Zone)
- Reception to Year 1: Tuesday at 3.50 – 4.50 (ACA, The Avenue)
- Year 2 – 4: Wednesday at 3.50 – 4.50 (ACA, The Avenue)
- Year 4 – 6: Wednesday 5.00 – 6.00 (ACA, The Avenue)
Shadwell:
- Reception to Year 2: Thursday at 3.50 – 4.40 (Shadwell Village Hall)
- Year 3 – Year 6: Thursday at 5.00-6.00 (Shadwell Village Hall)
Each class costs £10 per week. Payments are to be made in advance for the half term ahead to secure your child’s place.
No, you can start at any time. Please contact us to join mid-way through the term. You will need to pay for the classes your child attends in advance.
We don’t allow parents/carers to watch the classes. In our experience children can relax, pay attention and enjoy the lesson more without a parent/carer watching them as it can be extremely distracting. We perform 2 big shows per year where the children will showcase everything they have learnt and we post regular clips on our social media pages.
Yes, but it is optional. You can purchase a MTL t-shirt or hoodie. Please contact us to place an order.
